The opening game of the 2010 IIHF World Championship with an amazing number of 77.803 spectators brought a new World Record in attendance for an ice hockey game. We are extremly delighted that we were able to share this moment with our fans around the world as well as sponsors and partners who are supporting us for so many years already.
The 2010 event was broadcast by 187 TV-stations from all over the world with a TV audience in total of over 734 million - also a new record in World Championship history and a 14 % plus against 2009.
